Research interests

  • Optical properties of low-dimensional systems (Carbon nano-tubes, Graphene, Graphene based heterostructures, nano-particles etc).
  • Strongly correlated systems - Multiferroic oxides, Iron-based superconductors, Topological insulators, Spin-frustrated systems.
  • Raman measurement and mapping of stress and strain in thin films.
  • Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS).
