To Prospective Students
I do not offer internships to non-IIT Mandi students. Therefore, please do not contact me for this.
I am always interested in working with motivated students who have strong mathematical reasoning skills and an interest in one or more of the following: information theory, wireless communications, optimization, computer networks, and algorithms. If interested, then contact me with your detailed CV and a write-up (no more than two pages) on a research problem/area of your interest, clearly mentioning why it is important, what work/results already exist, and how do you think you can contribute to it. While preparing your write-up, remember the following quote:
He who writes with no misspelled words has prevented a first suspicion on the limits of his scholarship or, in the social world, of his general education and culture. -Julia Norton McCorkle
