Research Interests:

  • Metagenomic sequencing and analysis of highthroughput sequence data obtained from different environments, including human body sites, soil, sediment, etc.
  • Complete genome sequencing and analysis of novel bacteria inhabiting different environments.
  • Development of computational tools and algorithms for metagenomic and genomic data analysis.
  • Development of novel algorithms for functional prediction of unknown/hypothetical proteins.
  • Human genome analysis and comparative genomics.
